Paper Peony Workshop with Lucia Balcazar

Date: Saturday, February 20th, 2016
Time: 1PM to 3PM

Cost: $35

Boston based artist Lucia Balcazar will be joining us to teach her paper peony workshop. Her gorgeous paper flowers are a treat to see and even more fun to make. Her work has been featured in many blogs, including Design Sponge.

All materials are included. Students go home with a finished flower and a tutorial to make more on their own.

Special Class: 2" Nantucket Basket / Dual Class with Felted Hedgehog Pincushion

Pincushion: $35
2" Basket: $75

For this special workshop, you can choose to make the whole set (basket & hedgehog), or you can just make one piece (basket or hedgehog).

Please note, if you want to make the whole set, please register for two sessions (2 hrs each).

This class is open for kids 8 and up. Between ages 8-12, we ask that a parent also takes the class with their child, as the class does involve using sharp needles.

Special Class: 2" Nantucket Candy Basket

Date: Wednesday, January 20, 2016
Time: 10:00AM-12:30PM

Class fee: $92 (All Materials are included)

Enrollment: 4 seats

In this two and a half hour class, you will learn to make a petite 2" Nantucket Candy Basket. This class will be making a round basket with a cherry base and cherry lid. Also, the featured knob on this basket will be a maple knob with a Fossilized Mammoth overlay.

The basic principles of Nantucket basket making will be taught. This is a great class for first time students and students that would like to finish a basket in one class.
