Felt making is a craft activity that allows you to make shapes and designs freely with sheep wool. In this special class, the artist Mitsuko Nakagawa* will teach you needle punch felting techniques using hot water. Each student will make a small flower ornament, a coaster, or a felting ball. Winterize your Nantucket Basket with a wool flower ornament created in this class! This class is for 14 years old and up.
Seats are limited. Please register as soon as possible to ensure placement in the classes.
*Mitsuko Nakagawa is a multimedia creator and an award-winning textile artist from Tokyo, Japan. She is currently in the MFA program in Media Arts at Emerson College.
