Wet Felting Basic Technique Workshop

Date: Sunday, February 11th 11am - 1pm
Class fee: $35 (All materials are included)
Enrollment: 8 people

Felt making is a craft activity that allows you to make shapes and designs freely with sheep wool. In this special class, the artist Mitsuko Nakagawa* will teach you needle punch felting techniques using hot water. Each student will make a small flower ornament, a coaster, or a felting ball. Winterize your Nantucket Basket with a wool flower ornament created in this class! This class is for 14 years old and up.

Seats are limited. Please register as soon as possible to ensure placement in the classes.

*Mitsuko Nakagawa is a multimedia creator and an award-winning textile artist from Tokyo, Japan. She is currently in the MFA program in Media Arts at Emerson College.

All levels are welcome! We do ask parents to stay with children under 14 years old.

Too cold for skiing? Join us to make a cute "SNOW BUNNY" at GrayMist Studio! This class is perfect for beginners as well as experienced needle felters. Students must be at least 14 years old to participate.

No need to register

Join us to learn how to make an origami holiday card with elegant bird. The card will open to reveal a space to write a message for friends and family. Take home a matching envelope with the card. Hot mulled cider will be served.

This workshop is designed for young adults and older.
