Animal Felting Workshop

Come join us for a special holiday class! We'll be making a 10" round basket with a lid that will double as a base for a Christmas Tree. The tree we will be making is the one on the far right of the photo.
There will be 2 sessions for this class, each lasting 3 hours. All materials are included.

We are a small, independently owned, retail gift shop & Nantucket Basket weaving studio located in Huron Village, West Cambridge. We sell Nantucket Baskets, materials and tools alongside fun & unique gifts, apothecary, jewelry & stationery. We also offer workshops calligraphy, felting and other crafts. We have created a neighborly environment where friends and customers alike will stop by and chat.
We are looking for a part-time or full-time sales associate who is polite, friendly, outgoing and is passionate about personalized customer service. Our basket making classes are in full view of the store which allows the customer to engage with our instructors and students. The primary goal of our sales associate is to create an engaging shopping experience while driving sales through detailed knowledge about our unique product, our basket weaving classes and materials. In addition, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, checking in orders, replenishing inventory, and assisting with social media and organized events.
Qualifications:
• High-end boutique experience
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proactive, intuitive, and has a curious nature
• Polite, friendly and loves to engage with customers & colleagues alike
• Willingness to learn about Nantucket Basket weaving and appreciate the brands we carry
• Appreciation for fine quality gifts, jewelry & stationery
• Knowledge of POS system with Mac computers & software
• Must be able to work Saturdays and during the holiday season
