Special Eggshell Art Workshop

Saturday, October 26, 3-5pm

Come join us for a unique art workshop on Saturday, October 26! The class will be taught by local artist Connie Saems, an artist based in Cambridge and Wellfleet, MA. Connie worked as a speech/language pathologist for 40 years and has always had her hand in the arts. She received a BFA from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA. Her work has been shown at several galleries throughout Massachusetts.

For three years Connie was a docent at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. She has taught at many art centers including Harvard University Office for the Arts, Boston Center for Adult Education, and ARTSCAPE, Cape Cod.

We are delighted to announce our special screening of the documentary film, ‘Silent Fallout’ at Graymist Studio & Shop. This groundbreaking film uncovers startling nuclear testing secrets within the United States. With narration by Alec Baldwin, this movie is a must-see for anyone who wants to go beyond Oppenheimer and discover a dark period in history whose effects still reverberate today.

Documentary film SILENT FALLOUT

This shocking documentary by Japanese director Hideo Ito tells the untold story of the spread of radioactive contamination in the United States and the mothers who stood up against it.
Before the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 2025, the filmmaking team decided to organize a screening tour in the United States. They aim to highlight that the entire American continent has been exposed to radiation from nuclear weapons development and to question the true necessity of these weapons.

Table Styling Seminar with Beatrice Sanninobea on 6/1

GrayMist Studio & Shop and Beatrice Sannino Collective invite you to a table styling seminar at GrayMist on June 1 from 11:30am-2:30pm. Enjoy an afternoon of table styling tips utilizing an exclusive selection of textiles and table elements from GrayMist's collection. Pieces will be available for purchase but this is a FREE event.

Upcoming Beginner Kintsugi Workshops

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery. Kintsugi treats breakage as part of the history of an object, and something to highlight, rather than disguise. Our instructor will teach you how to take a broken dish (provided) and bring it new life and beauty!
