Faraway Islands: Lightship Basket Making on Nantucket & Japan

The Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum is holding a very special exhibition this summer. The exhibit is called Faraway Islands: Lightship Basket Making on Nantucket & Japan, and is running from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day. The exhibit features artists from Nantucket and Japan that are making Lightship baskets. We are honored that work from some of our students and instructors has been chosen for the exhibit.

It's definitely worth a trip to the island to see the exhibit and vacation for a few days!

More information available on The Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum's website.
